The General Democratic Prosecutors of 19 states have filed a federal lawsuit against the Trump administration on the efficiency of the Government Department (Doge) Access to sensitive and personal data belonging to Americans in the Department of Treasury.
The lawsuit states that the agency led by Elon Musk illegally accessed the central payment system of the Treasury Department at the request of the Trump Administration.
On Thursday, the treasure agreed to limit Musk’s access to its payment systems, while a judge listens to arguments in a previous demand presented by a group of employee unions and retirees.
The demand, filed on Monday, said that Musk’s team violated the law by receiving “full access” to treasure payment systems.

“Doge is not going to fail,” he said. “People’s cheese are moving here in the capital, and when you listen to this chillido, then an interest of status quo is not happy.
“In the Treasury, our payment system is not touching. We process 1.3 billion payments a year. A study is being done: can we have more responsibility, more precision, more traceability that money is going where it is? But, But, in terms of stopping payments, that is happening upstream at the department level. “

The lawsuit was filed in New York by the New York Attorney’s Office Letitia James, a vocal criticism of Trump.
Includes the general prosecutors of Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Wisconsin.
“President Trump does not have the power to give the private information of Americans to anyone who chooses, and cannot reduce federal payments approved by Congress,” James said in a statement. “Musk and Dege have no authority to access the private information of Americans and some of the most confidential data in our country.”

Treasury officials denied Wednesday to have violated the privacy laws, saying that only two members of the Doge team had received “reading” to information in the payment systems.
