The president of the United States, Donald Trump, said he is revoking the security authorization of his predecessor, Joe Biden.

Writing in a publication about Truth Social, Trump said: “There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information.”

He said his administration would revoke their security authorizations and daily intelligence reports. “Joe, you’re fired,” he said.

The Republican said he was doing what Biden had done when he was president.

Biden “established this precedent in 2021, when he instructed the intelligence community (IC) to stop the 45th president of the United States (I!)

He said that Biden “could not trust confidential information”, citing an investigation by the Department of Justice on the storage of files classified by the Democrats, which Biden said had a bad memory.

Biden, who has taken time away from the center of attention since he left his position as president last month, has not yet responded to the comments.

After assuming the position in 2021, Biden prohibited Trump to receive intelligence reports traditionally granted to former presidents, citing their “erratic behavior.”
