A Stradivarius Violin made In the “pinnacle” of Antonio Stradivari’s career, he sold at an surprising price this week.
The musical instrument, prepared in 1714 by Stradivari, the most famous associated with the violin, was sold for $ 11.3 million in a Sotheby’s Auction in New York Friday.

The Joachim-Ma Stradivarius receives his name from his two most famous owners: Joseph Joachim de Hungary, who lived in the nineteenth century, and si-hon ma from China, whose estate donated the violin to the New England Conservatory in Boston after his death. In Philadelphia in 2009.
