Berlanga vs. González-Ortiz: March 15 Shock in Orlando

Edgar Berlanga will return next month against Jonathan González-Ortiz by Wonathan González in a Super Median headline in a promoted show of the phosphorus room in Dazn in the Caribbean Royale in Orlando, Florida. This is the trusted booster that the recently beaten Berlanga (22-1, 17 kos) that is rumored that he is taking.

The 35-year-old Puerto Rican native, González-Ortiz, returned in 2024 after being out of the ring for 10 years since 2014, surpassing Edward Ulloa Díaz and José Saint-Hilaire Gil (5-23). Berlanga lost to the unified medium -weight champion Canelo Álvarez last year on September 14 in a unilateral unanimous decision of 12 rounds in Las Vegas. It was Berlanga’s first fight against a truly world -class opponent, and seemed completely overcome despite having a great size of the Mexican star. Berland looked like a cruise weight. It was not worth seeing that fight, since Berlanga seemed to be there to survive. He had done nothing to gain an opportunity for the title against Canelo and was chosen to a large extent due to his undefeated record for the good of the appearance.
