Two people moved away from a small plane crash in South Central California After the plane landed backwards.
The first to respond were called to the scene on Sunday morning on the southern side of East Lerdo Highway in Shafter, California, near Minton Field airport, said Kern County Fire Department on Facebook.
The plane was located backwards “in the middle of a smokeless vegetable field or visible fire,” said the department.
“Firefighters quickly gathered medical tools and equipment and went to the remains. Upon arriving at the plane, they felt relieved to find both occupants outside the aircraft and reject any medical treatment,” added the department post.
