The Gulf of Mexico has become called the Gulf of America in Google Maps in the United States.
It occurs after President Donald Trump signed an executive order to change the name of the water body that is bordered by the United States, Cuba and Mexico. It meant that government agencies of the United States had to change it, but other countries and companies did not have to do the same. So why has Google done the switch?
