The former Disney star was shot in the face during the weekend while shooting clay pigeons with her husband for her birthday. She was beaten in five places, even directly under her eye.
“It’s a miracle,” he wrote on his Instagram on Tuesday while showing a video of his doctor explaining how close he approached blind.
He added: “The shot was less than 1 mm to be blinded permanently.

She said the lead fragment has to remain on her face because removing it could leave it blind.
The 40 -year -old woman said doctors expect her to recover completely, although it is possible that she can never get a magnetic resonance again with the lead fragment in the face.
Another shooting fragment housed in his skull will also remain in place because doctors said he will accelerate their healing process, he explained.
“He and other doctors will continue to monitor me for the next few weeks and keep everything informed,” he added. “I am very sore and tired, but I am resting and healing well. I appreciate all their support and the support of my husband, children and his family.”
