Hamas has said that he is committed to implementing Gaza’s fire cessation agreement with Israel and will continue to release hostages within the agreed time period.
After the conversations in Cairo, the Palestinian armed group said that the Egyptian mediators and Qatar had confirmed that they “eliminated obstacles” to the agreement.
There was no response from Israel, but Prime Minister’s office denied the Egyptian and Qatari reports that the mediators had joined the gaps between the two parties and both were committed to continuing the implementation.
On Tuesday, Israel said the high fire would end if Hamas did not return the hostages this Saturday. Hamas had said previously that he was postponing releases about what he said they were Israeli violations.
Hamas said that Israel was not allowing the amounts agreed on vital humanitarian aid, including tents and shelters, what Israel denied.
The group’s announcement led the president of the United States, Donald Trump, to propose to Israel to cancel the agreement and “let hell break” unless “all hostages” were returned on Saturday.
