The Dallas Police will not join the ice deportation raids, the interim boss tells immigrants meetings

“The Dallas Police Department is not helping any federal agency to stop documented or undocumented people in the city of Dallas,” Iigo told the attendees of the Bethel Family International Church in Dallas, according to CBS News.

Iigo also turned to X last night to convey his message that DPD will not cooperate with federal immigration officials.

“There is no place for fear in our community,” igo wrote in X. “I am meeting with the interested parties in Dallas to assure you that we are here to serve and protect all the residents of Dallas and I am committed to enforcing the ordinances municipal and state laws “.
