President Donald Trump He met with Marc Fogel’s mother on July 13, 2024, in Butler, Pennsylvania, And he promised to take his son home if he is chosen, just before an attempt at murder he almost took his life.
Representative Mark Kelly, R-Pa., He was there for the meeting between Trump and Malphine Fogel before the president took the stage.
“The president survived the murder attempt on July 13 in Butler, and fulfilled his commitment to Mrs. Fogel that he would take his son home,” Kelly told Fox News Digital. “It is an incredible and providential story.”

During the demonstration, after her meeting with Fogel’s mother, Trump was showing a table that highlighted how illegal immigration shot under the Biden-Harris administration. When he turned to the list, he was beaten by a bullet that crossed the upper part of his right ear by the candidate for murderous now deceased, Thomas Matthew Crooks. Trump accredits the table for saving his life.
Kelly compared the situation in the classic film “is a wonderful life.”
“The movie’s theme was that George Bailey was very frustrated, but he was given an idea of life and what would have happened if he had not been there, if he had not been born,” Kelly recalled. “And if I return to July 13, all this is providential.”

“Mrs. Fogel has the opportunity to talk to the president, and she talks about what is happening to Marc. The President promises to take him home,” Kelly continued. “It is an takeoff of ‘is a wonderful life’ and the opportunity, or the dilemma, that if you had never been born, what would have been the consequences?”
“If President Trump did not survive the murder attempt on July 13, Marc Fogel wouldn’t be at home today,” Kelly said.
Fogel, an American teacher from western Pennsylvania, returned to the United States on Tuesday night, after Trump assured his release. Fogel was arrested in 2021 at a Russian airport for possession of medicinal marijuana and was sentenced to 14 years in a Russian prison.

“After having been there and having witnessed it, I think for myself, ‘Oh, my God, that little inch fraction, or whatever, is the difference between Marc Fogel is at home and Marc Fogel is not at home’ “, said. “Between making a promise to her mother and being able to keep her, instead of making a promise and never having the opportunity to fulfill her.”
Malphine Fogel recalled Butler’s meeting with Trump in “America Newsroom” of Fox News Channel.
“I met with President Trump, and he was as cordial as he,” he said. “He told me three different times, ‘if I enter’, he said, ‘I will take it out’ and I really think it has been instrumental.”
Malphine Fogel told Fox News that “it was a total surprise” when he heard his son from Moscow airport.
“Then, that meant that (they) had taken him out of the prison to Moscow … The last week more or less, for some crazy reason, I had a better feeling about things, but I had not had news of him in him a Week, so I thought it was strange and when he called … it was just a total shock, “he said.
Meanwhile, Kelly told Fox News Digital: “There is a certain time in the lives of people in which you realize that you don’t have forever, that you have now and that you should do it.”

“Politically, there is no one on both sides of the hall that can see what happened with Marc Fogel and not say in some way, this is really providential, this is not a political movement,” Kelly said. “This does nothing for the president. He is already chosen. He did this to keep a promise to a mother of about 90 years, the only thing he wanted to see before he died was his son once more.”
Kelly added: “This is a promise made. Promise maintained. It is really providential. It is. It is a wonderful life.”
