Tiktok is again available in the US Apple and Google Application stores, after President Donald Trump postponed the application of a ban on the Chinese property social media platform until April 5.
The popular application, which is used by more than 170 million US users, briefly darkened last month in the US. As the deadline for prohibition approached.
Trump then signed an executive order that granted Tiktok an extension of 75 days to comply with a law that prohibits the application if it is not sold.
Tiktok did not immediately respond to a request for comments from BBC News.
According to Bloomberg, who first reported Tiktok’s return to application stores in the US. and that the ban would not yet apply.
The prohibition, which was approved with a bipartisan vote in Congress, was signed by former President Joe Biden. He ordered the Chinese owner of Tiktok Bytedance to sell the American version of the platform to a neutral party to avoid absolute prohibition.
