Ex “Dancing with the Stars” Pro Cheryl Burke He is opening on his love life.
During a recent episode of the podcast “I do, part 2” of Iheartradio, Burke reflected on his relationship and divorce of actor Matthew Lawrence and the changes he made in his life after his marriage ended.
“I am not dating, and I am choosing not to leave. As, he forgets the marriage,” he said when talking about what is still for her. “How about knowing someone? I am like, ‘I am perfectly happy in this house, with these four walls. I never have to leave'”.

Lawrence and Burke dated for the first time for a year, from 2007 to 2008, gathering almost a decade after their separation in February 2017. The couple married two years later, in May 2019. After three years of marriage, Burke requested divorce In February 2022. Burke explained that it was his idea to marry because, at that time, his unique “objective was to marry.”
“Now, I am a different woman, and I think it is very interesting how we press so much pressure, especially women, because we believe there is a schedule that we must continue in marrying and having children,” she explained.
“It’s like, it is the conventional form, right? It is what society expects from you. But it does not have to be in any order or at any time, and do you ever have to happen, point?”
When reflecting, Burke acknowledges that his decision to marry had “nothing to do with the person I married”, but more with his lack of love for herself and look for something external to “fill my cup.”
