Russian president, Vladimir Putin, is a “little scared” of President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview that was broadcast on Sunday.
Zelenskyy joined NBC “Meet The Press”, telling that when he spoke with Trump on the phone about a possible peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine, he told the president who believes that Putin fears the US leader.
“I said that (Putin) is a liar,” Zelenskyy said of his phone call to Trump. “And he said: ‘I think my feeling is that he is ready for these negotiations.’ And I said:” No, he is a liar.
“But I think he is really a little scared by President Trump. And I think the president has this opportunity, and it’s strong. And I think he can really take Putin to peace negotiations. Yes, I think so. I think he can , but don’t trust him.
Zelenskyy’s interview follows Trump announcing last Wednesday that Putin had immediately agreed to “begin peace negotiations to end the war. Trump’s Secretary of State took advantage Negotiations with Russia and Ukraine.

Zelenskyy said during his interview that trusts Trump’s leadership in the midst of negotiations to end the war that has been triggered between Russia and Ukraine since 2022, but will not accept an agreement that did not include conversations with Ukraine.

And I trust President Trump because he is the president of the United States, because his people voted for him, and I respect his election, and I will work with President Trump with confidence, I have the United States, “Zelenskyy told Welker when asked if he feels that Trump values Ukraine at the same level as Russia.

Zelenskyy added in his interview that he will not accept any negotiation that the US and Russia.
