Trump pays attention to the judge to serve as the next prosecutor of the United States for the Southern District of Florida


President Donald Trump announced three new members of his administration on Sunday, including Judge Jason Reding Quiñones, whom the president has nominated as the next US prosecutor for the South District of Florida.

“The former federal prosecutor and national security official of the Department of Justice, Judge Reding Quiñones currently serves as a very respected state judge in Miami, and a lieutenant colonel in the Air Force Reserve,” Trump wrote in a publication about Truth Social. “As the next US prosecutor for the Southern District of Florida, Judge Reding Quiñones will restore the law and order, will prosecute violent crimes and make the United States be safe again.”

Together with Quiñones, the president announced that Jim Byron will serve as the main advisor of the Interim National Archivist, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, in the National Archive and Registration Administration (Nara).

After having worked with Nara, Trump said Byron understands the responsibility that is destined to preserve the history of the country.

Trump also nominated John Jovanovic to serve as president and CEO of the United States Export-Import Bank (EXIM).
