This is how family, friends and teachers say that they will remember Thomas Cooper, 5, who tragically died within a hyperbaric chamber in a medical center in Troy, MichiganLast month.
The descriptions are part of a sincere obituary written about Cooper before a commemorative visit held on Thursday, approximately two weeks after his death.
Cooper was receiving treatment inside a camera, a pressurized container containing 100% oxygen, when suddenly exploded at Oxford Center with 165 Kirts Blvd.

Police and Fire officials said he was dead inside the camera when they arrived at the scene, while his mother Annie, who was also inside the room, suffered wounds in the arm.

It is not clear what caused the camera to explode. The family intends to file a demand to prevent a similar incident from taking place again, Harrington said, adding that the child’s parents are “absolutely devastated.”
The obituary also mentions that Cooper loved to make art and constantly had curiosity about the world that surrounded him and liked to know how things worked.
“At night, he liked to listen to audiobooks while trying to sleep, and some of his favorites are Yoto daily, Charlie and the chocolate factory, and James and the giant peach,” says the obituary.
