Jimmy Butler I saw his commercial desire granted by the Miami Heat, but a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame called him a “Crybaby” for how everything was reduced.
Tim Hardaway Mr. commented on Butler’s eventual Golden State warriorsA team with which the former became a star in the 1990s, during an appearance on the radio of the NBA Siriusxm.
“I did not agree with what I was doing: you are under contract,” said Hardaway.

“(Butler) a baby. (He is) a Crybaby because they told you no.”
The president of Heat, Pat Riley, said initially that the team had no intention of exchanging Butler in December after reports arose that he preferred to be transferred.
However, Butler’s response was ultimately something that led to “harmful behavior for the team.”
What did Butler do? According to the reports, he left a practice and a team flight was lost for a road trip, which led to suspensions both times.
Finally, the heat yielded before NBA trade deadlinesending Butler to the warriors.

How Butler handled everything is something that Hardaway could not understand in his days of play.
“We used to tell us ‘not’ for us all the time, and we used to know how to take it,” he explained. “It’s what it is. It’s a question. You get a yes or a no. You may not like the question, but you can’t divert and spoil the team.”
Butler has requested trades in the past, especially during its sour end in Minnesota with the Timberwolves. However, he is not the only NBA star to do it in recent seasons, as James Harden and Kawhi Leonard can give.
And as Hardaway mentioned, the stars in the past also requested trades, but denied them. However, how Butler handled the situation is different from what Hardaway has seen.

From the exchange, Butler has played four games with his new Warriors team, averaging 21.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.3 assists in those competitions. Golden State won three of those four games.
