Trump and Musk discuss the conflict of interest

President Donald Trump and Elon Musk defended the role of Doge, the non -governmental agency he is in charge, during his first joint television interview on Tuesday night.

When asked about possible conflicts between his businesses and the role of the United States government, Musk said “he has never asked the president.”

“If there is a conflict, it will not be involved,” Trump added.
