President Trump He signed an executive order on Wednesday with the aim of eliminating a handful of federal advisory committees.
He order objectives Presidio Trust, the Inter -American Foundation, the United States African Development Foundation and the United States Peace Institute, all of which have received federal funds.

Cut these government entities And federal advisors will save taxpayers dollars, reduce the unnecessary expenditure of the government and rationalize the priorities of the government, according to Trump’s administration.
The appointed organizations received 14 days to submit reports to the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (Director of the OMB) that confirm that they comply and give an explanation if some part of their government entity is required and to what extent.
In addition, the USAID administrator was asked to terminate the voluntary foreign advisory committee. The Director of the Office of Financial Protection of the Consumer will have to rescind the Academic Research Council and the Advisory Council for Credit Cooperatives. The Board of the FDIC must terminate the Advisory Council of the Community Bank. The Secretary of Health and Human Services has been asked to rescind the Secretary of the Secretary on Long Covid and the CMS administrator has to rescind the Health Equity Advisory Committee.

The newly signed executive order coincides with a Trump signed on Tuesday that tells Doge to coordinate with federal agencies and execute mass cuts in federal government personnel numbers.
That order instructed Doge and federal agencies that work together so that “significantly” they reduce the size of the federal government and limit the hiring of new employees, according to an informative sheet of the White House. Specifically, agencies should not hire more than one employee for every four left their federal position.
Agencies will also receive instructions to “undertake plans for large -scale reductions in force” and evaluate ways to eliminate or combine agency functions that are not legally necessary.

Trump also requires that within 30 days after order, President’s attendees for National Security Affairs, Economic Policy and Internal Policy identify and present a list of additional committees and meetings for termination.
The Trump administration declared that the American people elected President Trump to drain the swamp and end the ineffective government programs that enhance the government without achieving measurable results.
Trump also said he wants to provide voters what they want, to address “all these” horrible things that happen “, and told reporters that he expected the judicial system to cooperate.

“I hope the judicial system allows us to do what we have to do,” Trump said, adding that he would always comply with the ruling of a court, but will be prepared to appeal.
