Boston TD Garden It was the place to be on Thursday night, and an explosion of the past made the final crowd of the 4 nations even more expelled than it was.
The United States and Canada hockey teams are back on the ice for the 4 nations facing Championship, five days after three fights in the first nine seconds occurred in their first game in the best format since 2016.
The two teams were the best points in the Round-Robin game (Canada owned the tiebreaker on Sweden), and will meet again in Boston.

Before the game, two greats of the sport were held. Wayne Gretzky and Mike Eruzione served as honorary captains for their respective countries.
Eruzione’s presence only makes any American crowd work, since he was the captain of the Miracle On Ice team in 1980. But he gave the crowd something extra to cheer.
Eruzione entered the ice swinging the shirt of Johnny GaudreauThe deceased All-Star of the NHL who, together with his younger brother, was killed by an alleged drunk driver in August.
Gaudreau played for the United States in the Juniors world in 2013, winning the gold medal that year. He also participated in the World Ice Hockey Championship five times.
