“I just think I have a lot, like, problems because of Amber in the experience I had,” Leah said, 16 years old Gary Shirley On Thursday 20 February Episode Teen Mum: Another chapter. “I want to overcome it so I can forgive her and just go on, and I think it would help to have someone to lead me to forgive someone, because it’s hard for me to do it.”
Leah decided to spend Most of her childhood with Gary and his wife, Kristina Shirley.
While Amber, 34, acknowledged things were distant She and her daughter expressed hope of creating a stronger relationship.
“He doesn’t want to be around me with my daughter,” Amber said at 6th February Episode from Teen Mum: Another chapter. “I’ve never been a mum I didn’t care about.” Just AF- ed up mami. ”
In recent years, Amber has been opened on her struggles for mental health and previously revealed that she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder.
During a rare confessional conversation, Leah gave insight into her current relationship with her mother.
While a high school student is not sure when she realized that her mom “was not”, Leah claimed to “leave problems with not being around”.
“I know a lot of things are happening to make her be there for me,” Leah said. “I feel it affects me every day, because I’m always afraid of leaving Kristina.” I’m always afraid that people just leave me for no reason. ”
When Leah started talking to a professional, Gary expressed his full support and assured his daughter that she could keep all his therapeutic sessions private.
“I just want you to talk to someone to talk to it is a safe space,” he said. “I want you to be happy.” I love you. ”
One costume that supports Leah’s therapy is Tyler Baltierra. When discussing this idea with Gary, 16 and pregnant Alum said that professional help at a young age saved his life for him.
Tyler’s support encouraged Gary to interview his own daughter.
“He’s a good child and has a great head on his shoulders,” Gary said. “He’s going through a lot.”
