Days after he was fired for President Donald Trump, The former president of the Joint Chiefs of the General Staff, the General of the Air Force, CQ Brown, resorted to social networks to express their gratitude for their time in the army.
“He inspired me to serve my father, who told me:” Four years in the army will not hurt you. “Four years became four decades, surrounded by the best members of the service and civilians in our entire nation,” Brown published in LinkedIn
Brown wrote that it was his “distinctive honor” to put an end to his military career as president of the Joint Chiefs and that he used his position to focus on war, modernization and trust.
“The commitment of the joint force with our security has never been more critical. I am sure that it will continue to be resolved in defense of our nation,” Brown wrote, partly.

Brown was the second black general to serve as president of the joint bosses, after the now late. Colin Powell’s Term from 1989 to 1993. It served in the position for 16 months before Trump’s decision to relieve him.
