New Orleans was the host of the Super Bowl for the eleventh time in the history of the city, and on Friday it was announced as the host of one of the greatest Wrestling events in the world.
Wrestlemania 42 It will take place at the Caesars Superdome next year. It is the third time that the city will receive the “grandfather of all of them.” The two -night event will take place on April 11 and 12 and April 12. It is the first time that the city will celebrate the event from Wrestlemania 34.

“Finally, Wrestlemania returns to New Orleans,” Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, 10 times WWE champion and member of the Junta de Tko, in a press release on Monday. “Next year, 2026, Wrestlemania 42, lives from the Superdome in one of the largest cities on Earth, New Orleans, Louisiana.”
The governor of Louisiana, Jeff Landry, also promoted the WWE’s decision to return to the “great easy.”
“We are ecstatic of receiving Wrestlemania 42 in New Orleans next year. Organizing this iconic event three times in the last 12 years is an honor that we do not take lightly,” Landry said. “I want to congratulate the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation for their successful efforts in this project. We hope to show WWE fans around the world that our entire great state has to offer.”

WWE also said “Monday Night Raw”, “Friday Night SmackDown” and Nxt Stand & Deliver will also take place around Wrestlemania 42 in addition to the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony.

It is not clear how that will affect the road to Wrestlemania 41, which will take place on April 19 and 20 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
