Keith Urban and his guitar will be at the forefront of a new music competition called Road.
CBS Mornings broke the news on Tuesday 25 February and revealed that a four -time Grammy winner would be the main artist RoadNew Reality Competition series from Executive producers Blake Shelton, Taylor SheridanLee Metzger and David Glasser.
The series, prepared for the premiere at the CBS in the autumn of 2025, will be followed by Urban and Shelton in search of another big musician. In every new place, developing artists will join the stage as Urban’s introductory act at music points throughout the United States, including places in Texas, Oklahoma and Tennessee, to test their chops as tourist musicians.
“I spent a lot of my minor life playing in some of the dilapidated pubs, sometimes just for the bartender.” So I love the idea of throwing artists into the real world to see if they are artists, ”Urban said in his statement to the program.

Urban will step out of his latest album, HighIncluding his current single “Straight Line”. Developing musicians from each city will open for Urban and the audience will have the opportunity to influence which artists will move to another city on tour.
Road The Tour premiered on March 2 with a special performance in Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall in Fort Worth in Texas and will end exactly a month later on Wednesday 2.
Since then, the tour has been on a special performance at the Deep Ellum factory in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday, March 5, Oklahoma Ranch in Oklahoma City in Oklahoma, Sunday, March 9, Cain’s Ballroom on Wednesday, Wednesday. March 12, Minglewood Hall in Memphis on Monday, March 24, and Marathon Music Works in Nashville on Friday, March 28. Tickets for each special performance will be free of charge, but they are only available on the first arrival, first serving.
