Seattle Seahawks Field Marshal Geno Smith apparently agreed with the position of the governor of Florida Ron Desantis on the payment of annual property taxes.
Desantis proposed the idea of getting rid of property taxes in the state while talking about establishing a Government efficiency department similar to Working group to help cut the state spending.

“Just to be on your property, you must write a check to the government every year, so you are basically paying the rent to the government to live on its own property,” said Desantis, through Florida’s voice news.
“There are farm things that help you protect yourself to some extent, but you are paying more, and many people cannot afford that, so I think it is a big problem, and I know that we are really going to look for ways to provide a relief from people of that, because I think it really has been something that is pinching many owners, particularly the seniors in the incomedments,” he added.

Smith reacted with an X -x Emoji, suggesting that the Republican governor was successful.
Smith is signed with Seahawks during the 2025 season. He has won more than $ 67.4 million in his career, according to to spotrac.
Desantis He supported the idea Earlier this month in X.
“Property taxes are local, not state. Therefore, we would have to make a constitutional amendment (it requires that 60% of voters approve it) eliminate the eliminates (what I would support) or even to reform/lower them,” he wrote in a publication on social networks.
