The main event of the Salita Promotions of Salita March 1 March 1, Saturday night will have the former lightweight lightweight champion of the FIB, Subriel Matias, while returning to the ring to face Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela (30-3-1, 17 kos) in the Tomas Dona Coliseo in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, transmitting, transmitting, transmitting, transmitting, transmitting, transmitting, transmitting, transmitting, transmitting, transmitting, transmitting, transmitting, transmitting, transmitting, transmitting, transmitting Live in Dazn.

The last time Subriel Matias fought in his native Puerto Rico, had a disappointing performance since he suffered the second loss of his professional career. Now, Matias, 32, is ready to redeem himself while he plans to win the FIB Light -Light Weight Deleting Fight in front of the crowd of his hometown.

After arresting Petros Ananyan in the ninth round in January 2022, the 140 -pound contender, Subriel Matias, developed the reputation of being the Boogeyman of the division. Matias dominated an implacable pressure offensive style in which he broke his opponents and produced a strike in all his victories.

In February 2023, Subriel Matias arrested Jeremias Ponce in the Fifth Round and won the World Holiday Title Super Light IBF. A year later, Matias would return to Puerto Rico for the second defense of his world title. Unfortunately for Matias, he lost to Liam unemployed through a unanimous decision.

Five months later, Subriel Matias recovered by publishing a second round Tko victory over Roberto Ramírez. Now, the Hard Matias is basically one step away from winning the opportunity to become twice world champion.

Seeking to play the role of the spoiler is the 30 -year -old Mexican boxer Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela. On the night of March 1, a victory for the helpless Valenzuela would result in ruining the return to Matias’s house and taking the Challenger position of the FIB World title.

In May 2022, Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela faced the then undefeated 140 pounds Montana Love. In the first round of the fight, left -handed love connected to a right hook that knocked Valenzuela.

Valenzuela would go back in the second round when a left check hook landed that sent the love to the canvas. The fight was very competitive, but at the end of the contest of 12 rounds, Montana Love won a unanimous decision victory, since the three judges obtained the 114-112 fight in favor of love.

After losing to Montana Love, Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela would continue to assemble a streak of 5 fights. He is now scheduled to participate in a party that defines his career that has implications of the world title.

Subriel Matias (21-2, 21 kos) is a pressure fighter who is considered one-dimensional, but the only thing he does, executes it very well. If Matias can dictate the rhythm of the fight using the high guard, pressing forward and landing his shots, then he could become a painful night for Valenzuela.

For Valenzuela to achieve the discomfort, he has to steal the Liam Play Book. Valenzuela must establish its soap, control the range, the box from the outside, use the clinch if Matias arrives too inside and the rear foot box. Valenzuela will have to be patient, disciplined and defensively responsible in the course of 12 rounds.

On Saturday night, March 1, a fundamental battle will be held in Puerto Rico between subriel Matias and Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela of the hometown. The loser of this fight will have to step back and rebuild, while the winner will continue to challenge the current world super lightweight champion of FIA Richardson Hitchins.
