Mel Gibson Denounced to the governor of California Gavin Newsom and the mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, for their participation in the fires of Palisades and Eaton that devastated the communities in southern California.
Gibson joined Saving California for a press conference in Altadena on Wednesday and his efforts to remember Newsom.
“We deserve much more and much better, and there is absolutely no adequate excuse that the governor or the mayor can do for this mismanagement and breach of what they knew it approached,” Gibson said, referring to Newsom and Bass, according to Ktla.

The fires of Eaton and Palisades devastated Altadena and Pacific Palisades. Gibson was one of the thousands who lost his homes during the Palisades fire that exploded on January 7.
“Was it incompetence? Was it indifference, complacency, carelessness? Was it negligence? Absolutely,” Gibson added.

The actor, which was recently designated as special ambassador In Hollywood by President Donald Trump, he explained that federal investigation should be required if Federal help will be given to California.
Twenty -nine people were killed in Las Palisadas and Eaton’s fires, 23,448 acres burned in the Palisades fire and 6,833 businesses and houses were destroyed, according to Lime fire.

The Eaton fire burned 14,021 acres in Altadena, and 9,418 companies and houses were destroyed, according to Lime fire.

During an appearance in “Hannity” in January, Gibson explained why he decided to stay in California while several celebrities packed their bags.

“Many people have gone, and I didn’t blame them. They didn’t look good. Even … people who were liberals, they didn’t look good. But if everyone left, what will happen?” The actor said.
Gibson’s comments occur when Fox News presenter Sean Hannity, shared that he left New York due to “crimes … high taxes … onerous regulations”, and “has no intention” to return. The “flight risk” actor agreed that several A-Listers fled for the same reasons.

Despite being on the same page as Fox News presenter, Gibson promised to work with the president in what Trump called Hollywood “very worried.”
“(People) go to another place because it is more profitable. There are (there) many prohibitive regulations and things in the way that I think they could rise … but I think it can be solved.”
Shortly after Trump assumed the position, the president announced that, together with Gibson, Jon Voight and Sylvester Stallone, they would serve as “Special shipments” to Hollywood.

Gibson promised to meet with the other Hollywood ambassadors to discuss a plan and “educate” himself.
Gibson believes Trump “will get some results here quickly” while criticizing Newsom.

As a special envoy of Hollywood, the actor “Braveheart” will focus on tax incentives because Gibson argued that Newsom’s plans are not “working.”

“I know that Newsom gave some tax incentives, but maybe not enough because it still doesn’t work. There are other things that compensate that,” he told Hannity at that time.
