Gary Sinise is as shocked as the rest of the world after learning about the death of his former co -star Gene Hackman, Hackman’s wife, Betsy and her dog.
He Santa Fe County Sheriff Office (New Mexico) Fox News Digital said Thursday morning: “On February 26, 2025, at approximately 1:45 pm, the agents of the Santa Fe County Sheriff were sent to an address in Old Sunset Trail in Hyde Park, where Gene Hackman, 95, and his wife Betsy Arakawa, 64, and a dog were found failed.”
Blue, who worked with Hackman in the 1995 film “The Quick and the Dead”, He told Fox News Digital that he woke up early on Thursday and immediately saw the news of Hackman’s death. The star “CSI: NY” had several questions.

“He is 95 years old, but his wife was 60 years old. So what is happening there? Do you know, did something happen and it wasn’t right?” Sinise wondered.
“It seems very strange that too, your dog has left. You know, like, what did they do … what happened?”
“I think I was painting. I was doing a lot of that and living a quiet life in New Mexico.”
The department of the Santa Fe County Sheriff revealed that the autopsies were completed both in Hackman and his wife. There was no external trauma or in the actor or his musician wife. The authorities continue to investigate the couple’s deaths when the official autopsy results and toxicology reports are still pending.
Sinise shared that she did not keep in touch with Hackman after her retirement, but was aware of her “quiet life” in New Mexico with his wife.

“I know that once he retired to New Mexico, he was retired. He didn’t want to return and get any prize or, you know, go to any Hollywood event or anything.
“I think I was painting. I was doing a lot of that and living a quiet life in New Mexico.”
Sinise said Hackman has always been one of his models to follow.
“I loved his approach. I loved his personality. I loved everything about him. And as time passed, it was like Gene never failed. He could be in a movie that could be less successful than the previous one or whatever. But Gene Hackman was always outstanding,” he said.

“I mean, he never called him. He was a really good actor to model later. He just wanted to be like Gene Hackman, you know, it’s not that it turned out to be like Gene Hackman, but he had something to aspire at the time, and he was among my same favorites.”

Sinise’s last project, “Brothers after the war” It is a documentary about the veterans of the Iraq war. The project brings together the creator of the film, Jake Rademacher, with his brothers after the war in the Middle East.
Sinise, who is an executive producer of the film, said Rademacher decided to meet with her brothers 10 years after her first documentary film, “Brothers at War,” he debuted.

Sinise told Fox News Digital that its foundation wants to help as many members of the service as possible through the production of this documentary.

“The soldiers and the members of the service that return from the war and have a difficult time, it can be very difficult. And we all know the difficulties we have had with suicide in the army and all that. We want to provide so many opportunities for healing and healing services, of the Gary Sinise Foundation, for the members of our service as possible,” he said.
