A jury sentenced an owner of Illinois on Friday in a stabbing of 2023 who claimed the life of a 6 -year -old American Palestinian child, Wadoee Alfayoumi, and left his mother wounded criticism.
Joseph Czuba, 73, had no emotions after being convicted of three first -degree murder positions, a charge of murder attempt, two positions of aggravated aggression and two positions of committing a hate crime, Fox 32 Chicago reported.
Alfayoumi’s mother, Hanaan Shahin, told the Police that Czuba was upset by Hamas’ terrorist attack on October 7, 2023 against Israel and followed the war and attacked her already her son on October 14, after she asked her to “pray for peace.”

It was stabbed several times.
The war began only one week before the attack, on October 7, 2023, when Hamas attacked Southern Israel.
The prosecutors alleged that Czuba stabbed their two -year -old tenants because they were Palestinian Americans, Fox 32 reported.
In a video shown in the Court on Thursday, Czuba spoke with an officer about the attack inside a police car.
“I was afraid to make me jihad,” Czuba said.

The images were also captured from Czuba saying that Shahin did not tell him that he was Muslim and that he compared the Palestinian Liberation Organization with the Nazis, According to the report.
Although there were no previous problems with Shahin and his son, Czuba’s wife testified that he retired and angry after seeing the news cover of Hamas’s attack and asked the family to move, Fox 32 reported.
According to the report, Shahin told the court that Czuba said: “You, as Muslim, must die,” while attacked with the knife.
He locked himself in the bathroom and called 911, then listened to his son screaming in another room, according to Fox 32.

The state representative Abdelnasser Rashid, D-BridgeView, the first Palestinian American to serve in the state legislature, issued a statement describing the case as a “heartbreaking.”
“My heart is with the family of Wadoe Alfayoumi today,” said Rashid. “The jury was right to find Joseph Czuba guilty of all charges, including murder and hate crimes.”
