Chaos as parliamentarians throw smoke grenades in Parliament

At least three Serbian parliamentarians were injured after opposition members threw smoke grenades during a chaotic session within the country’s Parliament on Tuesday.

Politicians were seen on live television that face tear gas in an apparent sample of support to student protesters.

The manifestations caused by a collapse of the roof of the railway station that killed 15 people four months ago have become a broader movement that represents the greatest threat to the Serbian government.

One of the injured parliamentarians suffered a stroke and is in critical condition, according to the speaker. “Serbia is increasing so that the regime falls,” said a banner deployed on the floor of the camera.
