Ryan García is still salty for being sued by Devin Haney after his victory over him last April, and says he does not feel comfortable saying anything. He feels that whatever tells the former world champion of two Divisions Haney will be used against him in a declaration for his legal case.
It was believed that Haney had agreed to withdraw his legal case against Garcia in exchange for he agreed to fight him in a rematch in October. However, with the bitter way in which Ryan speaks of being sued by Devin, it seems that the case is still ongoing.
García (24-1, 20 kos) states that he wants to have anything to do with Haneys, and sees it as a “B ****”. You can’t wait to “overcome your A **”. Haney (31-0, 15 kos) is fighting José Ramírez in Ryan’s trajectory on May 2 at the Fatal Fury event in Times Square in New York City.
The plan is that Ryan and Haney fight in October after they take their respective heating fights on May 2. Garcia is fighting Roleando ‘Rolly’ Romero (16-2, 13 kos) in the main event of 12 rounds in a fight in the Welter weight. It is expected to be a walk through the park for Kingry.
Where there could be a problem is that Devin faces the former WBC and WBO 140 lb José Ramírez (29-2, 18 kos). If Haney loses against Ramírez, that will accelerate much of the interest that exists for a rematch with Garcia.
Devin would need to avenge two losses unless he found a reason for the commission to have deleted for Ramírez as he did with Ryan. That would be incredible, but you never know. The undefeated records are quite important, as we saw with Gervonta Davis, escaping from a loss on Saturday night with his robbery of hair for the hair against Lamont Roach.
“I have been elegant for a reason. He is demanding. I don’t know what I can tell him, ”Ryan García told Ring MagazineReacting to be told to keep him “quite elegant in London” with Devin Haney. “Everything I say is used against me. So, I don’t know what to tell them.
There is nothing to say between Ryan and Haney. Even if the legal case has been dismissed, they will not be friends. That beaten that Haney suffered has to be a difficult pill for him to swallow, since fans no longer see it in the same light and is given the same red carpet treatment as before. If Ryan hit Devin again, he can close the chapter and move on, leaving his career in the mud.
“Everything I say can be used against me. So what is supposed to do, really? I just realized that it is so much of AB ****, but maybe it will sue me for that. Who knows? You can use that in deposition. He used many of my tweets in the deposition.
“Everything I said, he used against me. So, this is the weak mental state that this man has. I have nothing to tell these guys (the Haneys). I just want to beat his A ** again, and that’s all. I don’t have to say anything else.
“I tried it. I hit his A **. I feel that they are trying to have an ounce of trust over me leaving that loss. They have been trying to do that since they lost, trying to gather any force they can try to write that badly. It was a bull call with steroids and was a bull with steroids. All that shit was bull s ***. I don’t want it to be part of them, ”said Ryan about Devin Haney.
