EXCLUSIVE: Riley Gaines He has defended justice in women’s sports. Will it take her to the campaign?
The former NCAA swimmer turned into conservative activist has promised to help unraveling any Democrat who is allowing the inclusion of trans athletes in girls and women’s sports. That list added 45 senators Monday night, after each Senate Democrat voted against The “protection of women and girls in the sports act”.
Gaines spent Monday in Minnesota, gathering supporters to advocate a state law aimed at protecting female athletes from trans inclusion. However, this bill was not approved either, being short in the Chamber of Representatives of Minnesota.
After Gaines helped President Donald Trump and Republicans to take advantage of national outrage by Democrats who allow trans inclusion in girls’ sports, now focuses his attention on inflicting more consequences in the DNC in the intermediate people of 2026, since the party has apparently refused to give on the subject.

However, Gaines is also not ruling out the possibility of taking the matter in his own hands and, finally, running for a public office, he told Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview last Friday.
“It’s never what I was doing,” said Gaines, who specialized in Health Sciences at Kentucky University and originally planned to follow dentistry.
“But now, of course, with this problem and more, I would say that the whole agenda of America first. I am so passionate, I care a lot, and I love it, so we will see. It is definitely not something that I would rule out. I do not think I am so crazy, because I do I think I must be a little crazy clinically for voluntarily.
Gaines said the National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard would be his main model to follow in a possible political career.
“She is so fierce, and it is so strong, and what you see is what you get,” Gaines said. “She stands firm for what she knows is true, because what she knows is correct, fair, moral and just. And I think we need more of that. We don’t have much of that, it is a very rare feature, especially in the political sphere.”
Gaines’ political curriculum already includes three years of highly visible activism in space to protect women’s sports. Last week, a law that bears his name “,The Riley Gaines Law,“It happened in the House of Representatives of Georgia, which seeks to ban trans athletes in girls and women in that state.
After campaigning for Trump and the Republicans in 2024, Gaines has become a quickly ascending conservative counterculture figure, leading the popular “Gaines for girls” Outkick Podcast.
Last week, she also directed a prayer prior to the race in the Nascar Cup series‘Echopark Automotive Grand Prix in Austin, Texas.
If Gaines goes crazy enough to throw her hat into the sand with her own political campaign, she already has the confidence of at least a prominent figure of the Republican party.

Senator Marsha Blackburn, R-Ten., Has worked closely with gaines as legislative ally in battle to keep men out of women’s sports. Blackburn was co -cross -governing the Law on the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports, and in total, it has proposed three legislation to address the problem.
Blackburn, to work with Gaines on that subject, has the confidence that the former swimmer and aspiring dentist could achieve anything to do.
“I think Riley has the ability to pursue what he wants to pursue,” Blackburn said prior to Fox News Digital. “He thought he would be a dentist, and life has taken some interesting twists, and I am very happy to see the work he is doing to protect women and girls.”
Gaines has already been Franco on issues beyond women’s sports, adopting a firmly in line with Trump and the main republican current on issues such as immigration and border security, relations with Ukraine and Rolling back from. She has made these positions clear and consisting of her activity on social networks that date back several years.
However, for the moment, Gaines focuses on delaying the political careers of the Democrats who have voted to maintain trans athletes in the sports of women and girls.
Immediately after the vote of the Senate on Monday night, Gaines turned to social networks to call the Democrats who voted against the protection of women and girls in the sports act, and bring their supporters to oppose them. Gaines specifically pointed to Senator Jon Ossoff, D-GAG.
“You have a daughter. You are not ashamed? The Georgians are seeing. I will make my mission to do what I can to get your seat in the Senate in 2026,” Gaines wrote about a photo that showed the names of each Democratic senator who voted against the bill.

Gaines previously told Fox News Digital that he expects the support of the chosen republican officials, including Trump, in his efforts to rough up these senators. He also states that some of the Democrats who will seek to disapprove already oppose trans inclusion.
“In some of these private confidential conversations that I have had with several Democratic senators, they assure me that they know that it is absurd to allow men to enter women’s sports and that they would not want to happen to their daughters. But they hide behind many different excuses,” Gaines said.
After those alleged senators hid behind their excuses, they have officially made an adversary outside Gaines, and the DNC may even have to prepare for Gaines to be an adversary for many years.
