President Donald Trump “Probably” will announce tariff commitment agreements with Canada and Mexico soon, said Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick.

The possible agreements would probably imply climbing at least part of the new 25% of Trump duty In imports from Mexico and Canada, he added.

Lutnick’s comments arrived minutes after US stock market. He alleged to an end for a second day of abruptness, stimulated at least in part by the fears of investors that Trump’s aggressive policies turn on a paralyzing commercial war.

Although the secretary of the Cabinet did not specify what Trump would agree, he suggested that the president of the United States would be willing to meet with Canada and Mexico “in the middle.” It also seemed to execute the possibility of Trump raising the rates completely.

The Trump administration reimposed on Tuesday sweeping 25% tariffs in Canadian and Mexican imports after pause for a month.

Trump, who has had tariffs as a tool for almighty negotiation, based policy on accusations that neighboring countries were not stopping the flow of drugs and crimes in the United States.

“Both Mexicans and Canadians are talking on the phone all day, trying to show that they will do better,” Lutnick said Tuesday afternoon.

“And the president is listening because, you know, it’s very, very fair and very reasonable. So I think he will solve something with them,” he said.

Lutnick described an agreement in which Canada and Mexico agree to “do more”, at which time Trump “would meet you in the middle in some way.”

“We are probably going to announce that tomorrow,” he said.

Lutnick said the announcement would not be another pause.

The comments occurred hours before Trump was ready to deliver a stellar schedule to a joint session of the Congress.
