The White House Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, speaks of Oval Office Fallout, Elon Musk and Doge’s efforts, White House changes in the press pool and more in ‘Mediaablez’.
Most of the media blame Donald Trump for the surprising shout match that led him to expel Volodymyr Zelenskyy out of the White House.
The result, these journalists and commentators say, is to put the relationship from the United States with Ukraine in the life support as their people continue to fight and die in an invasion released by Russia, even when Trump continues to promote his good relationship with Vladimir Putin. It is the leader of the Kremlin who is the dictator, not Zelenskyy, and is Russia, not Ukraine, what began the war to restore his smallest neighbor to the status of Soviet satellite, as Trump well knows.
There is no doubt that Trump, pushed by JD Vance, lost the stirrups in the Oval office and that derail the meeting, leaving the lunch that had been prepared for their equipment to be eaten by the employees.
But Trump also makes a fair point that he cannot make a deal with Russia if he is constantly attacking his leader (something that is obviously not inclined to do, given his story, including The Helsinki Summit).

At the same time, Zelenskyy was justified by requesting security guarantees, saying that Putin He has a history of violation of the agreements, from the 2014 Crimean invasion to the brutal war, including the deliberate targeting of civilians, which he launched three years ago.
But Zelenskyy had a job: managing the meeting with Trump and signing the expected agreement of rare minerals. And he failed completely. He took the hook. And although he could have received some sympathy, Great Britain and France hugged him and promised to send peace maintenance troops after a settlement, the Ukrainian leader may have irreparably damaged his relationship with Trump.

The president was overwhelming in saying that without American help, Zelenskyy does not have “letters” to play, but he is right.
I did a long interview with “Media Buzz” with Karoline Leavitt, Donald Trump’s press secretary, who carries with the fireworks of the White House. She is very skilled to push back.
Decipher Donald Trump: how his rhetoric sends different messages
She told me that Zelenskyy was “antagonistic and, frankly, he was rude. He chose a fight with the vice president of the United States.” (It was a little upside down). “Repeatedly interrupted President Trump.” (That’s true.)
“President Zelenskyy would not even accept the fire. If you want a war to end. How can you accept to stop the fight? You have the greatest deterrence in the oval office in President Trump, and you must trust his ability to deter Russia’s aggression.”

Well, Zelenskyy does not trust Trump because he believes that a high fire would lock the territorial gains of Russia of the invasion. But what choice do you have?
What surprised me most is that I cannot imagine that this collapse would have happened if the meeting was held behind closed doors, the usual place to finish the agreements. As much as me support journalistic accessIt is 40 minutes of press questions that frame the dialogue.
Then I asked Leavitt why, although Trump ended the things by pronouncing him “great television”, he made the meeting in public.
“Because President Trump is the most transparent president in history,” she replied. “And as he said, it was great for the cameras to be there because the American people and the world could see what the president and his team have seen behind the scene when negotiating with President Zelenskyy’s team.”
Zelenskyy will return to the White House when, as Trump said, is he ready to make peace? Who the hell knows at this time? But it is a great setback.
David Sanger, the veteran Diplomatic correspondent of the New York Times, has the most penetrating Great image.
That The president wants “It is a normalization of the relationship with Russia. If that means rewriting the history of the illegal invasion of Moscow three years ago, abandoning the investigations of Russian war crimes or refusing to offer lasting guarantees lasting for Ukraine, then Mr. Trump, in this evaluation of his intentions, is willing to make that agreement.”
Sanger suggests that Trump, a constant critic of NATO, is moving away from the Atlantic Alliance that has prospered for 80 years.
The president “does not secret his opinion that the system after World War, created by Washington, ate in the American power.”
For Trump, “such a system gave smaller and less powerful countries leverage over the United States, leaving Americans to collect the tab to defend the allies too much and promote their prosperity.
“While their predecessors, both Democrats and Republicans, insisted that alliances in Europe and Asia were the largest force multiplier in the United States, maintaining peace and allowing trade to flourish, Trump saw them as a bleeding wound.”

Look, Trump ran like the first United States candidate who kept us out of wars. Many Americans, especially Republicans, have lost patience with us Help for Ukraine When money could be spent at home. The aid, should add, is not close to the $ 350 billion that Trump continues to claim, but has been substantial.
The rare mineral agreement would at least have given the United States an economic incentive to continue supporting Ukraine and partially returned to our country for its generosity.
But in my opinion, there is a much stronger argument to support Ukraine. If Putin succeeds in dismembling part of the country, he will have been rewarded for launching the illegal invasion and his barbaric practice of deliberately bombing apartments and train stations.

And someone seriously believes that it would stop there? Isn’t it extremely likely that Putin would attack another neighboring country?
Trump’s approach, aligning with Russia at the expense of Europe, can be popular. But if it relies on that plan, shouts in the White House can be remembered as a turning point for the order of the Old World.
Note: Zelenskyy said something monumentally silly yesterday that he claimed Trump’s position that he is not ready to reach an agreement with Russia. Zelenskyy predicted that the end of the war “was still very, far,” AP reports.
The president quickly led Truth Social: “This is the worst statement that Zelenskyy could have made, and the United States will not bear it for much longer! … What are they thinking?” And Trump then told reporters: “Now, maybe someone does not want to make a deal, and if someone does not want to make a deal, I think that person will not be very long.”
What are they thinking? I have no idea. This is clearly self -destructive.
