“I am irreversibly changed for the better,” Bertinelli said about her former in the post shared via Instagram on Monday, March 3. “I know I’m becoming a much stronger and more benevolent person that I have met him and spent time with him.”
It was first reported that the couple was divided in November 2024. This is the first time that Bertinelli publicly recognized the breakup.

The actress wrote that she feels “so happy that she knew him” and “soaked his observations”.
Bertinelli First shared In March 2024 she walked with someone new and next month Instagram with Goodnough. She used texts from the song Taylor Swift “SO HIGH SCHOOL” in the headline for a post that included a photo of a pair wearing black lined glasses.
Their relationship followed her 2022 divorce by Tom Vitale and death her first husbandEddie van Halen, who died in 2020 after the battle with neck cancer. The couple shares a son Wolfgang, 33.
Bertinelli admitted to people in April 2024 that she was “in love”, joking that “she was supposed to die with my six cats and my dog and live very happily for the rest of my years alone – I am good alone.”

On Monday, Bertinelli said that despite the division she would “appreciate all our long interviews” that “led me to interesting and fascinating places I rarely thought.”
“I look at life with another perspective and care for my experience and conversations with him,” she continued from her former. “And it was a big part of helping me to recover from some old children’s wounds that I never knew what to do or even where to start.”
