Florida opens a criminal investigation into Tate Brothers

Florida has launched a criminal investigation into the British-State influential Andrew and Tristan Tate, who flew to the state last week from Romania, where they faced positions of human rape and trafficking.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier said investigators have issued search and citations as part of an “now active” investigation.

In the United States, the brothers also face a civil lawsuit of a woman claiming that they forced her to work sexual, and then defamed her after she gave evidence to the Romanian authorities. Firmly negan all accusations against him.

A former kickxer and misogynist self -written that appeared in the United Kingdom television show, Andrew Tate has millions of online followers.

Andrew, 38, and his brother Tristan, 36, face separate positions in the United Kingdom of rape and human trafficking. They also deny those accusations.

Uthmeier, a Republican, said in Tuesday’s statement: “Last week, I ordered my office to work with our law members to carry out a preliminary investigation into Andrew and Tristan Tate.

“Based on an exhaustive review of the evidence, I have addressed to the state -level prosecution office that executes raid orders and issues citations in criminal investigation now active on the Tate brothers.”

Tate Brothers lawyer, Joseph McBride, issued a statement later on Tuesday on the investigation.

“Today, Attorney General James Uthmeier threw the ethics law through the window when he took one side in a lawsuit of Florida where Andrew and Tristan Tate are demanding a woman from Florida for orchestrating a sophisticated plot to use sex as a weapon to ruin their lives,” the statement reads in part.

McBride described the comments of the attorney general “inflammatory” and “biased”.

The Tates were first arrested in Romania in December 2022, with Andrew accused of violation and human trafficking and Tristan suspected of human trafficking. They moved to Romania from the United Kingdom several years ago.

Both denied the charges and spent several months under house arrest. A year later, in August 2024, they faced new accusations that include sex with minor people and minor traffic, all of which deny.

It is understood that the Tates must return to Bucharest at the end of March to satisfy the terms of prosecutors; However, it is too early to say if they will comply.

Police in Bedfordshire’s English county are still looking for the extradition of Andrew in separate and unrelated accusations of rape and human trafficking, as well as tax evasion.

In the United Kingdom, four British women have presented a civil case against Andrew Tate in the superior court of the country, claiming that he violated them and controlled them coercively, the positions that also denied.

Those plaintiffs said it was clear that it would not face a criminal prosecution in Romania and appealed to the United Kingdom authorities to take measures.
