Senator John FettermanD-PA., Bucked his party this week, criticizing other Democrats for not representing the 13-year-old DJ Daniel cancer survivor during the speech of President Donald Trump to a joint session of the Congress.
“I don’t know why we can’t completely celebrate,” Fetterman told Nicholas Ballalasy for Fox News Digital. “I mean, I have a 13 -year -old boy, and thank God he has never had cancer, but I think it’s something we can all celebrate there. And I think it was a moving moment. And, as I said, that is part of the best of the American experience.”
Fox News Digital contacted 30 Democratic legislators about why Did not represent DJ Tuesday night, but only received six answers.

Fetterman also said in an X position that the inaction of the Democrats “only does Trump seems more presidential and restricted. “Some democratic legislators said their feelings against Trump were the reason they did not represent DJ.

“Our hearts are with the Riley family about the loss of their daughter and inspired by the history of Devarjaye ‘DJ’. It should not be confused with the disdain we have for the divisive and strident voice of President Trump,” said representative Marc Vreasey, D-Texas, to Fox News Digital.
The representative Debbie Dingell, a Mich. Democrat, said that “she applauded and moved, without shooting her eyes,” while Trump introduced the child.
“After the secret service gave him his (badge) and he sat down again, but then reached again and hugged the head of the secret service, made me cry. I took tears. I was cleaning a damn tear,” Dingell said.

Republican legislators criticized their Democratic colleagues for remaining sitting during the great moment of DJ, calling him “child” who refused to defend the child.
“The Democrats really embarrassed themselves. I mean, they wouldn’t even defend DJ, who survived cancer,” Sen. Eric SchmittR-MO., He told Fox.
“I was so disappointed that my Democratic colleagues could not bear and show love for some of the Americans who were recognized tonight. That was really heartbreaking for me,” said Senator Katie Britt, R-ala.
