Jack Daniel manufacturer says that Canada takes out the bottles from the shelves ‘worse than the rates’

The Canadian provinces take alcohol from store shelves in response to Trump’s commercial policy is “worse than rates,” said Jack Daniel’s manufacturer manufacturer Brown-Forman.

Ontario’s Prime Minister, Doug Ford, said the LCBO sells almost $ 1 billion of American alcohol per year. “As of today, each of these products is out of the shelves,” Ford said Tuesday.

The LCBO is the exclusive wholesaler of Ontario, which means that other retailers, bars and restaurants in the province will no longer be able to replenish US products, Ford said.

The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, criticized US tariffs on Tuesday, saying that imposing them was “something very dumb.”
