The Arab states led by Egypt have accepted a road map to rebuild Gaza as the “Integral Arab Plan”, counteract the proposal of President Donald Trump to rebuild the strip, transform Gaza into what he calls the “Riviera del Middle East” and move to the Palestinians.
The White House has effectively rejected the Arab Plan, saying that “the current proposal does not address the reality that Gaza is currently uninhabitable and residents cannot live humanly in a territory covered with debris and unplug unleashed,” said the spokesman for the National Security Council, Brian Hughes, in a statement, which is maintained by the accounting of Donald Trump.
The Arab Plan, seen by CNBC, says that $ 53 billion is needed for the reconstruction of the besieged strip, a number published last month for a set A-World Bank report. The almost 100 -page plan, called “Gaza 2030”, included the presidential logo of Egypt and was reviewed by the Arab states on Tuesday at an emergency summit in Cairo. Gaza reconstruction

Arab states have declared that the ultimate goal is allowing the “Palestinian national authority to return completely to the Gaza Strip.”
Arab States have asked to “celebrate presidential and legislative elections in all Palestinian areas within a year if the appropriate conditions are available.” In a statement to CNBC, a senior political official of Hamas said that the group welcomed the elections, saying that it had been a demand for years, to give “the Palestinian people the opportunity to choose their representative leadership and their political path.”
There are still questions about how or if Hamas will accept to disarm, but the group told CNBC that the Arab plan contained “positive elements, as well as a road map that is suitable for being a practical proposal.”
