“It’s not about cancer, it’s about being Klutz,” joked Ann, 74, joking her injury on her podcast “After dinner he thinks with Ann Wilson” Wednesday 10th March.
Ann started her latest tour with Reunion Heart with sister Nancy Wilson In February, after stopping all living performances last year to undergo chemotherapy treatment of cancer.

In the last episode of her podcast, Ann confirmed that on February 28 in Las Vegas, she injured her left arm five days before the opener Heart’s Tour.

“I really think the level of pain is still too much to pull it out of the sling,” Wilson said. “So I decided to sit, because then I can only focus on singing and not hold the balance and have someone to catch me there when I wind up to the side.”

In July 2024, Ann announced that she had survived from the tour to recover from the removal of cancer.
“The operation has been successful and I feel great, but my doctors now recommend me to undergo preventive chemotherapy and I have decided to do it,” the musician informed the fans through social media. “So my doctors bring me to take the rest of the year out of the stage to fully recover.”
In the uplifting health update in September 2024, Ann acknowledged that while “Chemo is not a joke”, she was on his way to recovery and in 2025 she was on stage.
