At least a dozen people have been injured in a shooting in a Toronto pub and the suspect is still generally, according to the police in the Canadian city.
The shooting took place at 22:39 on Friday local time (03:39 GMT on Saturday) near the city center of Scarborough in eastern Toronto.
The authorities have not revealed the scope of the injuries, but said that four of the victims had injuries that do not threaten life.
The suspect, with a black Balaclava, was seen fleeing the scene in a silver car, police said.
“I am deeply worried about listening to reports of a shooting in a pub at Scarborough,” Mayor Olivia Chow wrote in X.
She said the police chief “had assured me that all the necessary resources have been deployed.”
“This is an early and continuous investigation: the police will provide more details. My thoughts are with the victims and their families.”
