Israeli tourist one of the two rappers in India, according to the police

According to the police, two women were raped in a group and a man was killed in an attack near a popular Unesco World Heritage site in southern India, according to the police.

The two women, an Israeli tourist and an Operator of an Indian family house, were binding with three male tourists near a lake in Hampi, Karnataka, when they were attacked by a group of men on Thursday night, the police superintendent Ram Arasiddi told Reuters.

Arasiddi said the assailants pushed men to the Tungabhadra river channel before violating women.

Two of the men, one of them American, survived, and the body of the third man was recovered on Saturday morning, he said.

“Five people, two women and three men, were attacked near Sanapur,” said Arasiddi.

“Two of them are foreigners, an American (man) and another woman from Israel.”

Police arrested two of the men accused of the attack and an investigation is ongoing, said Arasiddi.

Police believe that men followed the group.

According to the testimony of the testimony of one of the women, the group was stuning the stars near a temple in Sanapur when three men reached a motorcycle and asked them where they could get gasoline.

As a group member instructed them, one of the three men demanded 100 rupees ($ 1.29) of tourists.

“As her family’s operator did not know them, she told them that they had no money,” police said.

“When men repeatedly insisted, one of the male tourists gave them 20 rupees.

“After that, the three men supposedly began to discuss.”

The body of one of the male tourists was found in the Tungabhadra channel in the Koppal district of Karnataka.

A case has been recorded at the Gangovathi Rural Police Station under sections related to extortion, theft, group violation and murder attempt.

The victims receive medical treatment in a government hospital, police said.

Hampi, an old village in the state of southern Karnataka India, is the home of numerous ruins and temples of the Vijayanagara empire. He was declared a World Heritage by UNESCO in 1986.

In a publication about X, Karnataka Prime Minister Siddaramaiah wrote: “The attack and violation of an Israeli citizen and owner of the family house is a more atrocious act.

“As soon as the incident was reported, I obtained information from the pertinent police, I conducted an exhaustive investigation and ordered them to quickly identify the culprits.

“The police arrested two defendants in relation to the case and continues the investigation.”

The attacks against women in India won international attention last year after the brutal homicide of rape of a junior doctor in a hospital in the eastern city of Kolkata.

The attack caused national outrage and protests for lack of security for women.
