A 47 -year -old man South Carolina The man faces federal charges after he allegedly threatened to kill President Donald Trump.
Travis Keith Lang, 47, from Irmo, South Carolina, was prosecuted for federal charges on Friday in a Columbia court after being arrested on Thursday.
He declared himself innocent and the bond was denied.
Lang is detained at the Lexington County Detention Center, according to WLTX-TV.

Lang’s accusation, presented on Tuesday, said he had threatened to “take his life to kidnap and inflict bodily damage into the president of the United States.”
The United States Secret Service is investigating the accusations.
Lang is scheduled to later appear before the Court for a bail hearing on March 14.
Last year, Lang presented to the Federal Elections Commission to run for president as a Republican, but was not in the primary republican vote in South Carolina or anywhere else, and the only donation he received was for $ 6,000 of himself, according to FEC presentations.
He could face up to five years in prison, said the Daily Gazette of South Carolina, citing the United States Prosecutor’s Office in South Carolina.

Lang’s Facebook page still says “Travis Lang for President”, and his image in his social media accounts is a division of his face and Abraham Lincoln.
He has also criticized former President Joe Biden, at a time of 2023 writing on Facebook that Congress should begin accusation articles against him.
An American prosecutor told a judge that Lang had made multiple threats to Both Trump And Biden, the newspaper reported, added that the secret service had visited him to tell him to stop making threats.

Lang made reference to the visit to the secret service on his social networks, claiming that he was sent there because Biden was “scared” when Lang decided to run for president.
