Archaeologists in Northern Denmark have unearthed a “circle of neolithic wood” that is believed to be used for rituals.
The evacuation was directed by the Merchimmerlands museum in Aars, discovering the “wood” structure consisting of 45 wooden stalls, according to the museum’s press release.
The museum entitled The press release “Great cult of worship sees the light of day after the millennia of darkness”.

The brand of each publication is approximately 7 feet away with a diameter of 100 feet.

While there are no wooden posts that stand standing, it is estimated that the largest vertical woods were in their place.
Sidsel Wåhlin, museum inspector at Himmerland western museumHe said the discovery is an extraordinary finding.
“The wooden circle offers us valuable information about the rituals and social structures of the last part of the older bronze stone/age,” Wåhlin said in a statement.

“The wooden circle is a window to the past that gives us an idea of the ceremonial and ritual activities of our ancestors,” said Andreas Bo Nielsen, project excavation manager.

The purpose of the great structure is not clear, but the theories suggest several different rituals observed for Stonehenge’s purpose.

Other purposes may include monitoring The sun and Moon, Neolithic Calendar and Midwinter celebrations, according to English Heritage, the government tourism group.
The Merchimmerlands Museum offers public tours through the Neolithic Wood Circle.
