Mo Vaughn, the 12 -year -old Slugger MLBHe has confirmed the use of human growth hormone to extend his career in major leagues.
Vaughn, who won the MVP from 1995, gave an interview with The Atléticowhere he admitted to having used a drug to improve performance to recover from a knee injury at the end of his career.
“I was trying to do everything I could,” Vaughn explained. “I knew I had a bad and degenerative knee. I was shooting HGH on my knee. Everything I could do to help the process.”

Vaughn was one of the players named in the infamous report of Mitchell, who immersed himself in the use of steroids and drugs that improve baseball performance in 2007.
In the case of Vaughn, the report found evidence that he had bought, on three separate occasions, HGH in 2001, a year he did not play after hurting his left ankle and knee pursuing a fault ball.

After eight years with the Red Sox, where he hit 230 of his 328 career homers, Vaughn spent two seasons with Los Angeles Angels of 1999-2000 before that injury in 2001 that eliminated him throughout the year.
Vaughn joined the METS in 2002, playing 139 games while he reached 26 homers with 72 races promoted with an average bat of .259.
