Selena Quintanilla-Pérez’s The murderer, Yolanda Saldívar, is eligible for probation at the end of this month, and a family member shares new details of Saldívar.
In an interview with The New York PostAn unidentified member of Saldívar’s family said: “(Yolanda) knows that what he did was bad and is responsible for it. But he was reacting to the way he faced himself.”
According to the family member, Saldívar says: “(Selena) arrived in her in a really aggressive way. She was so thrown with how blunt she was being Selena; everything happened so fast. If Selena had faced her differently, this would never have happened.”
The representatives of the Quintanilla family and Selena’s husband, Chris Pérez, did not immediately respond to the request for comments from Fox News Digital.

The outlet also spoke previously with the inmates in the Patrick L. O’Daniel unit in Gatesville, Texas, where Saldívar is being arrested, who said that it has been housed in protective custody due to being a heavy objective among the inmates.
