President Donald Trump El Salvador thanked Sunday after the president of the country shared a dramatic video of hundreds of alleged migrant criminals who land in Central America after being deported from the United States.
Trump, who recently invoked the 1798 alien enemies law, What allows the deportation of natives and citizens of an enemy nation without an audience, thanked Nayib Bukele on social networks.
“Thanks to El Salvador and, in particular, President Bukele, for his understanding of this horrible situation, which was allowed to the United States due to incompetent Democratic leadership,” Trump wrote. “We will not forget it!”
