George Kambosos Jr. confirmed today in X that his next fight will be for a world title against Light IBF Welter weight champion Richardson Hithins After he is in charge of his 12th round against his replacement opponent, Jake Wyllie, this Saturday, March 22.
Wyllie (16-1, 15 kos) was recruited as the opponent of former unified lightweight champion Kambero Jr. (21-3, 10 ko) after his initially programmed enemy retired with a disease today. It will be interesting to see how the little ‘Emperor’ does against Wyllie because he has not had time for preparation for his style, and has been fighting at 140 since 2022.
George needs an exhibition performance in this fight to excite the boxing public about seeing him challenge the 140-pound champion of IBF Richardson Hitchins (19-0, 7 kos) for his credit at the end of this year. Hitchins is possibly the king of the Welter Light’s Weight Division, and his style is a mixture of Shakur Stevenson and Terence Crawford. He can hit and box. A eliminatory victory would be perfect for Kambosos on Saturday if you can find some power somewhere.
Kambosos, 31, comes from a dismissal of ten months after a bad performance in his defeat for knockouts of the round against Vasily Lomachenko on May 12 of last year in Perth, Australia. George’s performance in that fight was much worse than his two defeats against Devin Haney. Loma played with Kamboos in that fight, studying the entire fight before leaving it twice in the eleven round to obtain unemployment. Who knows how much that fierce beating took?
The five -year professional, Jake Wyllie, has not yet fought against a recognizable world -class fighter, and may not live up to the task of facing the Burning spark plug Kamboos.

Who are these guys?
Damn former champion, Yordan retired, due to medical problems and is now in the hospital. Boxing always the unpredictable 🥊 the most important thing, I hope it is fine, since I know that it was preparing very hard for this opportunity.
