Brian Norman Mr. says that the Welter weighing champion of the Fib Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis will be crouching to the OM Norman Jr. (26-0, 20 kos) if he chooses to face Teofimo López in October. Ennis is expected to fight against Teo.
He will not reject the money that Turki Alalshikh offers him to face the smallest fighter. It is a more gainable fight for the boots than the one that recently rejected Vergil Ortiz Jr.that would have been a nightmare for him. Ennis can be bought, as long as it does not involve Vergil Jr.
Norman Mr. points out that Boots (33-0, 29 kos) has been talking a lot about wanting to unify that division of 147 pounds, but when it comes to his son, Brian Jr., he will forget about that and take the easy route against the fighter of 140 pounds theopime in October if the two win their next fights.
The fighters have lost their fear of boots after seeing him be exposed by Karen Chukhadzhain last November. They see weakness in the native of Philadelphia and realize that he is not the fighter they had thought.
“The boots don’t call us. He doesn’t want that job,” said Brian Norman Mr. A @MillCityBoxing About Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis shows no interest in fighting against the 147 -pound champion of Wbo Brian Norman Jr.
“It would probably do it,” said Norman Mr. When asked if he believes that Boots Ennis will go along the Teofimo route then instead of fighting Brian Jr. after his unification clash against Stanionis Eimantas on April 12.
Boot’s confidence may not be where it is necessary for him who fights risk against the undefeated Brian Norman Jr., 24, at this time. I would have to have a great self -confidence to bring that fight, and I would need to be ready to go to war because that is the style that Jr. USA Norman.
“He will be AB ****,” Norman Mr. on Ennis continued. “We are here. You said you just want unifications. You crouched down a Vergil (Ortiz Jr). I’m not going to call Teo Teo because you said you want the belts. Cool. You crouched you to Vergil and then, when Teo asked you for a fight at 147, you didn’t take it. I will not call that without duck.
“You did not take that. Now you said that you just want to unify, and then you have Stanionis. It is perfectly understandable, even on our side. It is perfectly understandable and perfectly good, even if he did not fight against us for Stanionis. That’s great, but if you fight against Teo and Teo you don’t have to offer him shit, that is a bull.
“Even if you have that false to ** WBA, that is not the belt that counts. That will not unify. That will not bring it closer to the undisputed. Everything you need is the four main belts, that’s all, and Teo does not have one, and Teo is not about to have one.”
Norman Jr. and his father must forget a fight against the ‘boots’ Ennis for now because if Teo is victorious in his defense for the title against Barboza Jr. on May 2, the plans are already in their place to face Teofimo in October.
Ennis faces the AMB champion, Eimantas Stanionis next month on April 12 in a unification fight at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Teofimo (21-1, 13 kos) is defending his WBO Welter weight belt against his mandatory Arnold Barboza Jr. on May 2 in Times Square in New York City.
Norman Jr. will defend its first WELTER weight title against the #13 Derrieck Cuevas (27-1-1, 19 kos) on March 29 at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas, in Las Vegas. Brian Jr. has been inactive since his victory in the tenth round over Giovani Santillan on May 18 of last year. Initially, Norman Jr. won the interim belt of 147 pounds from the OMB, but the World Boxing Organization improved last August to the status of full championship.
