President Donald Trump fired two democratic commissioners to the Federal Commerce Commission on Tuesday, who now say they plan to demand to recover their work.
The firings attacked Commissioners Álvaro Bedoya and Rebecca Slaughter, who represent the Democratic minority in the commission of five members. The White House did not immediately confirm Trump’s shot Of Fox News Digital officials, but both Bedoya and Slaughter published public statements saying that they intend to sue to return to their roles.
“I am commissioner of the Federal Commerce Commission. The president simply fired me illegally,” Bedoya wrote on social networks, arguing that Trump wants the FTC “to be a pencil dog for his golf friends.”
Slaughter issued a similar statement by saying that Trump “shot him illegally”, arguing that the measure was to “violate the clear language of a statute and clear Supreme Court preceding.”

“We are still commissioned. We are demanding to make it clear to all,” Bedoya said in a follow -up statement.
The president of the FTC, Andrew Ferguson, Republican appointed for the first time for the commission by President Biden and then was president of Trump, said he did not see problems with the shots on Tuesday.
“President Donald J. Trump is the head of the Executive Branch and is granted with the entire Executive Power in our Government,” Ferguson wrote. “I have no doubt about their constitutional authority to eliminate the commissioners, which is necessary to guarantee the democratic responsibility of our government.”
“I want the commissioners to kill well already Bedoya, and I thank you for their service,” he added.

FTC’s shots are only the last battle for the limits of Trump executive authority. His administration faces numerous demands from former unhappy employees of the entire federal government, and several federal judges have tried to hinder the efforts of their administration.

Last week, the judge of the United States District Court, James Boasberg, verbally issued a 14 -day restriction order to immediately stop the TRANGO DEPORTATION PLAN of the Trump Administration. Trump deported gang members under the alien enemies law of 1798, and the order could have forced two planes full of members of the TDA gang to return to the US soil.
