The promoter Eddie Hearn says that Anthony Joshua is dealing with an injury in the “upper half of his body” that will keep him out of the ring until the end of the summer.
Hearn has been everywhere, talking about different return opponents for the two-time heavyweight champion Joshua (28-4, 25 ko). The only constant name that continues is Tyson Fury.
Some believe that Joshua is “injured” because he and Hearn are waiting to see if Fury will come out of retirement. There is a lot of money to earn from ‘Battle of Great Britain,‘As Hearn has labeled that fight.
Fight Fury surely expires the winner of Daniel Dubois vs. Joseph Parker. It will be sad if AJ is still injured, hoping that the fight of the golden payment day against Fury finally happens. Ideally, Joshua should forget about fury and focus on more realistic fights.
If Joshua is waiting for ‘The Gypsy King’, he is making an error because he might not fight again. He seemed a shell of his former self in his last two fights, and it is understandable why he would not want to face a beating of power like Joshua. It does not coincide well against him.
Fury has not made any noise when leaving retirement to fight again. It seems to be enjoying its enormous Fortune of $ 160 million and not show motivation to return to action after his recent defeat against Oleksandr Usyk last December.
With that type of mass, it would be almost impossible for almost any person to return to work, especially one that implies pain and suffering. The ambition that Fury once had on his career has evaporated since he became rich, and the two defeats for Usyk are a factor.
“The upper half of your body. There you have, I will give you that,” said promoter Eddie Hearn to Ring magazine YouTube channel About Anthony Joshua’s injury. “It’s nothing important. He has returned to training, but is not ready to return to the camp.
“You need another eight weeks before you can hit properly. That’s it. You are looking at April or before you can start the camp properly. It takes us at the end of summer (before Joshua can fight).”
